# Requirements

#### For Image & Video , Max File Size should be less than 6MB

#### ✅ Image Requirements

**📁 File Format**

* Supported: **PNG, JPEG,JPG**
* Avoid using screenshots or overly compressed files. **No or minimal image compression** is strongly recommended.

***

**💡 Lighting & Visibility**

* Face must be clearly visible in a **well-lit environment**.
* Avoid **harsh shadows**, **glare**, or **extreme lighting** conditions.
* Faces obscured by filters, effects, or overlays should not be used.

***

**🎯 Face Position & Quality**

* Face must be **upright** and **centered**, not tilted or rotated.
* **Eyes must be open and unobstructed**.
* **Minimum detected face resolution**: **256×256pixels**.
* **Minimum inter-eye distance**: **100 pixels**.
* The detected face should occupy **at least 30%** of the image area.
* Only the **primary face** in the image will be analyzed if multiple are detected.
*

***

**🌀 Image Sharpness & Blur**

* Avoid **motion blur**, camera shake, or out-of-focus captures.
* Ensure the image is sharp and the facial features are clearly defined.

***

**📐 Resolution & Pixel Density (PPI)**

* Minimum **image resolution**: **256×256**(recommended for context capture).
* Recommended **PPI (Pixels Per Inch)**: **≥ 96 PPI**
  * For high-confidence detection: **≥ 150 PPI**
  * Images below 96 PPI may lack the fine-grain texture artifacts required for reliable deepfake detection.

***

**🚫 Avoid the Following**

* Cropped images that cut off parts of the face

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://neuraldefend.gitbook.io/neural-defend/requirements.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
